Bilingualism

Welsh is a prominent feature of the school’s ethos and an integral part of daily school life. We provide opportunities for all pupils to communicate in Welsh in both formal and informal situations through initiatives such as C’Mon Cymraeg.

Extra-curricular activities enhance and support pupils’ bilingual skills through trips to Llangrannog, weekly ‘Ymlaen Nawr’ sessions and cultural visits to Welsh heritage attractions.

We take pride in our annual school Eisteddfod where pupils can participate in a host of events. We also encourage pupils to participate in Urdd sporting and musical competitions.
